As of most sporting clubs and associations, there are always a group of elite performers that should be recognized.  Not every one can be number one, but consistent performers should also be recognized.

Apart from Club Champions,  Brighton Central Angling Club credit our Top Ten Anglers for the year by awarding them with a
“Green Cap”.
This is our own form of a Baggy Green.
Club caps are standard as Blue, but these Green Caps are worn with pride by the receivers.  
Not only are they unique in colour, but they also have the year of presentation embroided on them, making them also a collectors item.
Green Caps can be seen worn with pride at presentations for many of the various competitions that the
Brighton Central Angling Club  members attend throughout the year.

If you see an angler wearing one,  you know you have met one of our best anglers
