It’s on again the BCAC $4000.00 BIG DRAW
Yes due to popular demand the BCAC $4000.00 BIG DRAW is to be held on Saturday the May 12th at the Masonic Hall on the corner of Rowans Road and Isabella Street Moorabbin There is on site car parking for 40 vehicles at the rear of the building access via Isabella Street. .
On this years Menu is a gourmet Seafood prawns, oysters, smoked trout and an assortment of gourmet food from around the world
So get together with your friends and make up a table
All indications are that this will be an event not to miss out on.
In the current economic climate we have decided to keep the prices the same as previous years
Ticket Prices are
- Single in the Draw $120.00
- Double in the Draw $160.00 (1 entry in the Big Draw)
- Single Entry Ticket not in the Draw $80.00
- Double Entry Ticket not in the Draw $120.00 (This represents you and your partner not your mate)
Just to spice up the event there will be a Mystery Prizes given out during the evening.

26th/27th May Werribee Bream club comp
Club comp, a limit of 20 heaviest fish to be weighed in, 3 of each species Double points for catch & release of Bream.Lines down 6am, weigh in starts 2:30pm & closes 3pm at Werribee Boat ramp.
Club Overview
Brighton Central Angling Club (BCAC) is one of Victoria’s most successful fishing clubs. With over 150 active members, the club aims to promote the enjoyment of participating in recreational and sport fishing to people of all ages and abilities.
BCAC has a proud tradition of attracting and retaining junior and senior members, hosting successful club competitions, participating in interclub and interstate competitions and undertaking a range of community activities.
Brighton Central Angling Club:
- Established in 1978
- Located at Francis Street East Brighton Victoria
- Membership – 50 juniors, and over 150 seniors
- The Club fishes all major fishing competitions, As can be seen in some of the pictures and statistics enclosed. Each member pays for his or her team shirt. Each major Sponsor is represented on the team shirt..
- We are a very family orientated club looking towards the future
- The focus of the Club is to develop junior anglers and assist those disadvantaged groups who want to try fishing.
- BCAC also has 30 plus members who have membership at Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron. This represents over 5% of its membership base. Those members are the most competitive and successful anglers in both Clubs taking out numerous competitions each year.
- In 2000 the Club formed “The Ultimate Angling Team”. This Team was fully sponsored by Ultimate Barbeques. The team fished all major competitions.
